What this site collects when you ask about tree work, and where it goes.
What Is Collected
When you send the contact form, the site receives what you typed: your name, phone number, email address, the service address, the neighborhood and kind of work you selected, and your message. It also records the page the form was sent from and your browser's time zone, which helps a contractor call at a sensible hour.
When you call the number on this site, the call may pass through a call-tracking service that logs your number, the time and the length of the call, and may record the call for quality and dispute purposes.
Like most websites, this one keeps standard server logs and uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are read. Those visits also feed an audience of past readers, which the operator of this site may use to show them ads about tree care and home services on Google and, where it has been enabled, on Meta's apps. Blocking cookies in your browser opts you out, as does Google's ad settings page or facebook.com/adpreferences, and a resident of a state with a targeted-advertising opt-out right can ask through the contact form.
Who Receives It
Your request is shared with an independent tree service so that it can contact you about the work. That is the purpose of the site. It is also handled by the companies that host the site, deliver its email and route its calls, acting on the site's behalf.
Your details are not sold to list brokers. They may be disclosed if the law requires it.
Texts and Calls
By sending the form you agree to be contacted about your request by phone, text message or email by this site and by the contractor it refers you to. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to end texts, and tell the caller if you do not want further calls.
Your Choices
You can ask what information is held about your request and ask for it to be deleted, by sending a new message through the contact form that says so. Requests already passed to a contractor are in that company's records too, and it is responsible for those.
This site is intended for adults who own or manage property. It is not directed to children.
